Veteran’s Day has been around for nearly a century. And over these past years, millions of citizens have served the country as members of the armed forces. The greatness of the nation is directly linked to the service of these men and women whose selfless sacrifice often comes at a very high price. Sometimes the price is the loss of time with family and friends. Sometimes the loss is a relationship such as a marriage or other significant relationship. And sometimes the loss can be the loss of limb or life.
On Monday, November 11, 2013 we all have an opportunity to reach out to a family member, friend, or anyone else who is serving or has served in the military and to offer a sincere thank you for their sacrifice and service to the country.
I for one will be sending thank you cards to veterans that I know from the comfort of my home utilizing my home based greeting card business. If you are interested in learning about the greeting card system that I use, feel free to contact me.
Will you take the time to thank a vet on veteran’s day?
